Today, as part of the visit to Ganja, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Azerbaijan, Jahit Bagji, visited the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).

Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov informed the Ambassador about the dual diploma programmes, as well as about relations with Turkish universities, the new education buildings, the university’s material and technical base, the development of international relations. It was also brought to the attention of the guest that during the pandemic, Turkish specialists of various professions gave lectures to ADAU students.

Ambassador Jahit Bagji noted that his impressions of the university were positive, that the work was conducted in accordance with modern standards, and that the Agricultural University was well placed to provide qualitative education and research.

After the meeting, the Ambassador visited the Museum of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan. The detailed information about the museum’s exhibits and the history of the building was given the guest.
