At the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU), a meeting was held with a group of professors and representatives of 6 Hungarian universities headed by the diplomat of the Hungarian Embassy in Azerbaijan for culture and education, Mihaly Gruber.
The Rector of the University, a corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov greeted the guests and told about the history of the Agricultural University. It was noted that ADAU, as the only agricultural university in Azerbaijan, has close ties to Hungarian universities.
Guests were informed about the university’s dual degree programs, international relations, modern laboratories and internship opportunities.
The guests, led by the diplomat Mihaly Gruber, stated that they were happy to be here and would continue to develop opportunities for cooperation.
A memorandum of cooperation was then signed online between the University of Szeged in Hungary and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
The purpose of the memorandum was to develop future educational programs, exchange academic information and materials, and exchange students and teachers.
The University of Szeged, with 21,000 students, is one of the most prestigious universities in the European education system. The university has students from more than 130 countries. Hundreds of programs are taught at the university in 12 faculties.
