On February 17, 2016, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of different establishments in the frame of visit Ganja city, including first dormitory of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
Photo stands reflecting the attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to the development of education, as well as their visits to Ganja were installed in the foyer of the main block. This block has a registration department, a library, the dentist`s, a medical examination room, a photo studio, an auditorium, a fitness hall, shopping and catering services.
On November 10, 2017, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of second newly-built 514-bed dormitory complex for students of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
The complex, which occupies a total area of 13,640 square metres, consists of five blocks. All 257 rooms in the complex are equipped with the necessary furniture. There are a registration office, 120-seat auditorium, fitness club, cafe, atelier, stores, laundry, library, medical room, dental office and room for meeting with parents.

All of the students are different. Yet many loves enjoying their spare time doing stuff like shopping, making friends, playing games and using social media, texting, watching movies, reading and going to the park.For this purpose, university created social activity clubs in order to make sure students having productive time. Giving specific examples, The University Youth Debate Center is the location for a series of discussions and student training exercises, with the goal of developing skills and implementing the experience learned in reality.Young Intellectuals Club organizes periodic events and tournaments for young people in a number of analytical formats. It aims at further improving and extending its circle, driven by the intent to bring creative young people behind it and working together as a team. Additionally, ADAU recently establishedArt-club,the key purpose and goal of the club is to raise the participation of young people in the arts, to engage young people in social activities and to improve their dance, music and other skills by training.Also, to bring together students who are involved in music, dance, painting, writing and other forms of artand to enhance these qualities in them.Lately, environment protection is highly debatable for worldwide. At our university, the Eco-Club was set up to protect the environment and natural resources, to develop constant connections with students studying in the fields of ecology and environmental conservation, as well as to establish a large network of advocacy organizations.The Eco-club organizes activities and projects in the area of ecology, with students from diverse agricultural and environmental directions studying in the club.
Club of Agricultural Development Volunteers - Volunteers' aim is to contribute to the sustainable development of the agricultural sector by the establishment of a cooperative community working for the development of the agricultural sector, the recruitment of skilled workers to work in this area in the future, and the promotion of new technology for the productive use of existing resources.The "Agricultural Development Volunteers" area of operation involves the implementation and promotion of e-agriculture, the use of emerging business methods, assistance for farmers in the evaluation of land quality and involvement in the deployment of advanced technology.

The high attention and care of the sports in our country by the state has had a significant impact on the sports life of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University. Teachers, studentsand the staff of ADAU were provided with volleyball and basketball halls, gyms, necessary equipment and technical means in accordance with modern standards.
