Students studying at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University in state - ordered specialties are provided with a monthly scholarship.
At the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, in order to increase interest in agricultural education, an additional scholarship continues to be paid to the students admitted to the agricultural specialties of the university with high scores. According to the decision of the Academic Council of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University in the academic year 2022-2023, applicants admitted to the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University with 400-600 points on entrance exams will receive an additional scholarship in the amount of 150 manat, and those who gain 600 or more will receive an additional 250 manat.
Previously, additional scholarships of 100 and 200 manat were respectively paid to students in this category. Besides, the Scientific Board of the University resolved to provide 150 AZN and 100 AZN per month to students of non-agricultural specialties who obtained over 600 and 400-600 points subsequently at entrance exams.
At the University, the student with high exam results are paid attention and care by the administration. Thus, the students who have shown maximum results in all subjects during examination sessions will receive an additional 100 manat, and students studying in English at ADAU will receive an additional 70 manat per month.
Likewise, based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Additional Measures to Improve Grants System at the Higher Education Institutions No. 960 dated February 14, 2019, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan resolved to increase the number of government-funded student scholarships at ADAU by 547 in addition to existing 16000 since March 1, 2019.
