Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most influential ranking organizations, has announced its THE Impact Rankings for 2025. THE University Impact Rankings identify the world's best universities based on their social and economic contributions, based on the United Nations' (UN) Sustainable Development Goals. The 7th edition of the ranking, scheduled for 2025, includes 2318 universities.
Despite being included in the relevant ranking assessment for the first time, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) ranked 6th in the country, 1st among regional universities, and first among Azerbaijani universities in Sustainable Development Goals 2, ranking in the 1001-1500 range worldwide.
ADAU's Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators are as follows:
- for SDG 2 (no hunger), it ranks in the range of 201-300 out of 955 enterprises,
- for SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities), it ranks in the range of 401-600 out of 1154 enterprises,
- for SDG 8 (decent work and economic growth), it ranks in the range of 601-800 out of 1350 enterprises,
- for SDG 13 (combating climate change) it ranks in the range of 601-800 out of 1089 enterprises,
- for SDG 17 (partnerships for the goals) it ranks in the range of 1001-1500 out of 2389 enterprises.
