A delegation led by the Rector of BHOS, Elmar Gasimov, has arrived at ASAU on an official working visit.
On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited the Ganja Memorial Complex. The guests laid flowers in front of the memorial plaque and honored the memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
During their visit to the Museum of the complex, the guests were informed that the complex, inaugurated on September 27, 2025 – the Day of Remembrance – by President Ilham Aliyev, aims to immortalize the cherished memory of innocent victims of Armenia’s missile attacks during the Second Karabakh War and to convey the bitter realities of the war to future generations.
Later, the delegation visited the Mausoleum of Nizami Ganjavi, the Bottle House, and the Ganja City Ecological Park Complex.
The guests also visited ASAU’s Educational and Experimental Farm, where they became acquainted with the organization of the teaching and production processes, the existing infrastructure, and the work carried out to enhance students’ practical knowledge.
At the end of the visit, the BHOS delegation visited the Museum of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. During the tour of the exhibits, special emphasis was placed on the role of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in the history of Azerbaijani statehood, the importance of preserving national heritage, and fostering patriotism among the younger generation. Rector Elmar Gasimov wrote his heartfelt remarks in the museum’s guestbook.
