The Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Ms. Sunniya Durani Jamal, along with her delegation, visited the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
During the meeting, prospects for bilateral cooperation were discussed, and proposals were presented regarding ADB’s support mechanisms for the agricultural sector.
Rector of ADAU, Mr. Zafar Gurbanov, emphasized the importance of commercializing research in the agricultural field, supporting innovation activities, and further developing human capital and professional training.
Ms. Sunniya Durani Jamal expressed her satisfaction with visiting the university and highlighted ADB’s interest in strengthening cooperation.
Following the meeting, the delegation became acquainted with the material and technical infrastructure of the Azerbaijan Innovation Center, reviewed startup projects, and received detailed information about ongoing initiatives.
