A webinar titled “Transformation of Academic Libraries and Research Analytics: An Approach Based on Clarivate Experience” was held at the Main Library of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU).
The webinar, moderated by Khayala Hajiyeva, Customer Success Consultant and Trainer at Clarivate, brought together library specialists.
In her speech, Khayala Hajiyeva evaluated the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on library science and provided detailed information on the functional transformation of modern libraries.
Within the framework of the webinar, key issues such as technological innovations applied in libraries, “smart library” models driven by robotic and cyber-physical systems, the use of Big Data technologies and analytical capabilities, as well as the organization of national and international interlibrary resource exchange were extensively discussed.
Subsequently, a follow-up training session with the participation of a group of academic staff was dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the capabilities of the Web of Science platform in strengthening scientific research.
During the training, Khayala Hajiyeva provided comprehensive information about the functional features of the platform. It was emphasized that this platform enables the analysis of scientific data, evaluation of research performance, and expansion of international scientific collaboration opportunities.
