At the Department of Information Technologies of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, the next conference of the Student Scientific Society (SSS), dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held.
At the conference, the dear memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland was honored with a minute of silence, after which the National Anthem was performed.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the university, Ahmad Malikov, spoke about the importance of integrating students into the scientific environment and emphasized the significant role of scientific activity in their future professional development.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Tavakkul Islamov, noted that conferences organized within the framework of the Student Scientific Society make an important contribution to the development of students’ research skills and the acquisition of new knowledge.
Head of the Department of Information Technologies, Associate Professor Zakir Huseynov, highlighted the relevance of the topics presented by the students, wished them success in their future scientific activities, and shared recommendations related to scientific research.
Within the framework of the conference, projects entitled “Communication, Opportunities and Development in Farming Enterprises” and “Electronic Portal of the Student Scientific Society of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University” were presented. In total, reports by 10 students were heard during the event.
Following the students’ presentations, discussions were held around the reports by the teaching staff, and various suggestions and opinions were expressed.
At the end of the conference, students who actively participated were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation.
