The III Scientific-Practical Conference of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) titled “Young Researchers,” dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at the Department of Pharmacy of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) with the support of “Buta Farm” LLC and the pharmaceutical company “Berlin-Chemie Menarini Azerbaijan.”
The event began with a one-minute silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, followed by the performance of the National Anthem.
Speaking at the conference, the university’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Ahmad Malikov, emphasized the importance of involving students in scientific activities. He noted that such events make a significant contribution to developing students’ research skills, fostering innovative thinking, and revealing their scientific potential. He also stated that, as a result of the successful state youth policy implemented in the country, students’ interest in science is steadily increasing, while broad opportunities are being created for their integration into the international scientific community. Ahmad Malikov expressed confidence that young researchers would make important contributions to the future development of Azerbaijan’s agricultural and healthcare sectors and wished the participants success.
Within the framework of the conference, scientific presentations by eight students were heard and evaluated by the academic staff. According to the evaluation results, Kamal Mansimov won first place, Nurlana Allahverdiyeva took second place, while Davud Sevindikov and Muhammet Veysel Tutal were awarded third place. The winners received certificates and gifts, while the other participants were presented with letters of appreciation.
