A meeting was held between the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) and the management of Azersheker LLC.
Speaking at the meeting, acting Rector of the University Zafar Gurbanov spoke about the importance of cooperation of ADAU with local and foreign companies to train specialists in the field of sustainable agriculture. Speaking about the human resources potential of the university, its international relations and internship opportunities, Z. Gurbanov also spoke about the upcoming prospects.
Seymur Safarli, Director of Agriculture of Azersheker LLC, made a presentation and noted that Azersheker LLC, which was founded in 2017, has invested in cropping areas in certain areas of our country and started to produce various types of agricultural products. The company's goal is to function as an agroholding with highly efficient management, successfully applying advanced technologies available around the world.
During the meeting the issues of students' internships, joint research work, etc. were also discussed.
In conclusion, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Azersheker Ltd. and Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.
