A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University with the management of Ganja Volleyball Club.
Speaking at the meeting, ADAU Rector Zafar Gurbanov stated that the comprehensive development of students is one of the university’s priority areas and emphasized that sports play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.
President of Ganja Volleyball Club, Elvar Osmanov, noted that this cooperation would make a significant contribution both to expanding educational opportunities for professional athletes and to increasing university students’ interest in volleyball.
Within the framework of the meeting, a cooperation memorandum aimed at expanding collaboration between the university and the club in the fields of sports, education, and youth development was signed.
According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in engaging university students in volleyball, organizing joint sports events, tournaments, seminars, and training sessions, promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as mutually benefiting from the university’s sports infrastructure and the club’s professional experience.
The document also includes ensuring the participation of student-athletes in internship and volunteer programs, organizing fan support during the club’s home games, and implementing joint social projects among the main areas of cooperation.
Later, a joint tour of ADAU’s sports infrastructure was conducted.
