An international online meeting was held on the topic of Current status and investment opportunities of seed sectors of ECOSA member countries. The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Plant Breeding , the Faculty of Agronomy of the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) - associate professor Nizami Huseynov, senior lecturer Gulnara Abbasova, assistant Elnara Nazaraliyeva and master's students Roman Yusifov and Turan Ahmadov.
Speaking at the event, Director of the Agrarian Services Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fikret Feyziyev provided detailed information on the development of seed production in our country, existing potential and international cooperation opportunities. He also emphasized that Azerbaijan is open to conducting selection and improvement projects on various plant species and is ready to support joint scientific and research initiatives in this area.
