Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) held an event on the occasion of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year on December 31.
At the event, the dear memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our lands was first commemorated with a minute of silence, then the National Anthem was played.
Speaking, the rector of the University, Zafar Gurbanov, sincerely congratulated the teaching and student staff on the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and the upcoming New Year. He noted that this significant day is a symbol of national unity, solidarity and unification of Azerbaijanis scattered around the world around common values.
The rector said that in the past year, important steps have been taken in the fields of science, education and innovation as the State Agrarian University. The hard work and dedication of each employee have contributed to achieving these successes.
University student, participant of the Patriotic War Eshgin Bayramov said in his speech that the Victory won on the battlefield once again showed that the strength of our people lies in unity and solidarity. The education we continue in the auditoriums today also serves the purpose of making the future Azerbaijan stronger and more independent.
Then the event continued with the artistic part. Dances of student groups, performances of poems and songs in the spirit of patriotism were met with interest by the event participants.
