A knowledge competition was held among students at the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University (ADAU) dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the outstanding chemist, academician Yusif Heydar oglu Mammadaliyev.
At the event, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs of the University, Aida Gasimova, spoke about the life and work of Yusif Mammadaliyev, emphasizing his significant contributions to the development of chemical science, as well as the academician's creation of the petrochemical school in Azerbaijan, and his close participation in the organization of important scientific institutions such as the Astrophysical Observatory and the Manuscripts Fund.
