The Turkmen Agricultural Institute invites you to participate in the international competition of scientific and project works "Agroinnovations: Path to Sustainable Development," which will be held on October 16-17, 2024.
The official languages of the competition are Turkmen, English, and Russian.
The goal of the competition is to develop scientific thinking, research skills, and a creative approach among students by encouraging them to independently solve important agricultural tasks stemming from the UN Sustainable Development Goals, promoting sustainable agricultural development, and the rational use of water resources.
The tasks of the competition are to promote sustainable agricultural development and expand students' knowledge on the rational use of water resources; deepen students' understanding of scientific approaches and ensure their application in solving agricultural problems; familiarize students with the role of agriculture in achieving sustainable development goals; develop students' abilities to think critically and quickly solve emerging problems by identifying and analyzing agricultural issues; instill a sense of responsibility for sustainable development; create innovative and practical solutions for the agricultural sector; and increase students' interest in the natural sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Competition directions:
1. Agricultural projects
2. IT projects
3. Business projects
Requirements for the design of scientific and project works and presentations, as well as information on the criteria for evaluating scientific and project works, can be found in the competition regulations.
The I, II, and III places in each direction are determined based on the total points scored across all criteria. Winners of the competition will be awarded I, II, and III degree diplomas from the name of the rector of the institute.
