Candidates' applications are accepted in electronic form centrally through the Education Portal (portal.edu.az) page. Admission of foreigners and stateless persons (hereafter foreigners) is carried out by the Admissions Commission established at the University. Foreigners assessed as acceptable by the commission go to the next stage of payment of university tuition fees. After that, the candidates who have earned the title of student are admitted to the ranks of students by the appropriate order of the university by signing an individually prepared contract upon arrival at the university.
Documents related to the admission of foreign students: (DOCUMENT ACCEPTANCE IS PERFORMED ONLY THROUGH THE ELECTRONIC PORTAL).
Candidates fill out the "Electronic application” in the electronic document reception subsystem, and a scanned copy of the following documents is attached to this application:
Necessary documents for admission:
1. Passport (Notarised)
2. Diploma (Apostille is required )
3. Transcript of records (Apostille is required)
4. Health certificate (Apostille is required) & Health certificate on anti-HIV/HCV/HBs analysis
5. Police certificate (clearance) (Apostille is required)
6. Residence and address certificate (Apostille is required)
7. Certificate about Family members (Apostille is required )
8. Photo 3x4
9. The tuition fee is: 2500$
10. a valid border crossing document (international passport (page with a photo), the validity period of the passport must be at least 1 year and 6 months after the date of application to the University);
11. certificate of passing an exam in the language of instruction (if available);
12. copies of honours, certificates, diplomas and other such documents (if any)
13. After the Admissions Committee checks the applications, the candidates are informed about the results and the accepted students are sent an acceptance letter. Students whose application is accepted must submit the original documents to the Department of International Cooperation and work with foreign students to complete registration and start teaching at the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University.

About the visa procedures
Note:
1. Foreign citizens with a permanent residence permit issued by the Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan can be admitted to the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University only based on tests conducted by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
2. People with citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan in addition to citizenship of a foreign country are prohibited from submitting documents to the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University as foreign citizens.
3. Within 90 (ninety) days from the date of official admission to the educational institutions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the form of formal education, a copy of the document confirming their residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan must be submitted to the educational institution.
