First of all, this visit once again demonstrates that Azerbaijan’s foreign policy is based on the principles of stable, reliable, and long-term partnership, while also carrying significant political and strategic importance. It should be noted that the meetings held and statements delivered during the visit confirm the high level of Azerbaijan–Georgia relations.
In his speech, President Ilham Aliyev paid special attention to economic cooperation and investment issues, highlighting the decisive role of the economic factor in Azerbaijan–Georgia relations. At the same time, the billions of dollars invested in Georgia prove that Azerbaijan’s position as a regional economic power is becoming even stronger.
The development of energy and transport projects stands out as one of the key strategic directions of the visit.
