The Agricultural University and Ege University have signed a dual diploma programme

The Azerbaijan State Agricultural University (ADAU) and Ege University of the Republic of Türkiye signed a dual diploma programme on August 9.

In an online ceremony, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education, highlighted the importance of the dual diploma programme and stressed that such cooperation would further deepen relations between the two countries in the field of education.

At the ceremony, it was announced that the programme was designed for baccalaureate students in four specialities (plant protection, agronomy, agricultural engineering and economics). Under the program, starting in 2021, 120 students will receive free education for 3 years at ADAU and 1 year at Ege University. The program of the dual diploma is planned to be financed within the framework of the « State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023»,

After participating in the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilham Gadimov, Rector of Ege University Nejdet Budak and Rector of ADAU Ibrahim Jafarov praised the increased cooperation between the two universities as an important step and thanked everyone, who contributed to this work.

Later, two universities signed an online dual-diploma program. After the signing ceremony, questions were answered by the media.
