Ege University academic staff continues to teach at the Agricultural University

According to the memorandum of understanding signed between the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University and Ege University of the Republic of Türkiye «State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023», approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan of November 16, 2018, education on «agronomy», «plant protection», «agro-engineering» and «economy» is carried out on the basis of a double program with Ege University of the Republic of Türkiye from 2021/2022 academic year.

A group of teachers from Ege University came to Agricultural University to teach in specialized fields and began their studies in the new academic year.

In the current academic year, 9 professors and lecturers from Ege University in Izmir, Türkiye: Prof. Dr. Ismail Turkan (Biology and Botany), Prof. Dr. Bulent Chakmak (career planning, computer science, occupational safety), Prof. Dr. Urfat Nuriyev (mathematics), Prof. Dr. Hulya Atil (Statistics), Assoc. Prof. Suleyman Güljemal (General Chemistry), Lecturer Seda Beydesh (Foreign Language), Prof. Dr Bekir Keskin (zoology), Senior Lecturer Yilmaz Ozkaya (Turkish language) Prof. Doctor Omur Chakirli (Physics I) came to Agricultural University to teach first-year students and to participate in research in relevant fields at the university.

It should be noted that the Dual Diploma Program can accommodate 30 students in the academic year 2021-2022, 30 - in the academic year 2022-2023 and 30 - in the academic year 2023-24.
