Aliyev Hasan Alirza
(1907-1993)
He was born in 1907 in Jomardli village of Zangazur district of the former Yelizavetpol (Ganja) province. The first period of his life is connected with Ganja. In 1930 he was admitted to the Transcaucasian Cotton Institute in Ganja, in 1932 he graduated from the "agronomy" faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute.

Tutayug Valid Khaspolad
(1914-1980)
She was born in 1914 in Shusha. In 1930 she graduated from the faculty of horticulture and gardening of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute.

Mustafayevİmam Dashdamir (1910-1997)
He was born in 1910 in Gakh region. In 1932, he graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Agriculture and remained in graduate school. Here, he üorked as a dean, a head of the department, a deputy director for education and scientific work. He was a doctor of biological sciences, professor.

Abdullayev İlyas Karim (1913-1985)
He was born in 1913 in Agstafa region. In 1934 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute with a degree in agronomy and silkworm breeding. 1950-1954 Minister of Agriculture, 1954-1958 First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, 1958-1959 Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR, 1958-1962 Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.

Guliyev Alakbar Mammad(1911-1983)
He was born in 1911 in Tbilisi (Georgia). In 1934 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. In 1959-1960 he was the director of Ganja Pedagogical Institute, in 1960-1961 he was the Minister of Agriculture.

MusayevMusa Abdurahman oğlu (1921-2010)
He was born in 1921 in Ganja. He graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. In 1976-1991 he was elected vice-president of the All-Union Society of Protozoologists at the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1967-1988 a member of the editorial board of the journal "Parasitology", an honorary member of the Ukrainian Society of Parasitologists.

Mammadova Siddiga Rza (1925-2017)
She was born in 1925 in Sharur district of Nakhchivan AR. In 1948, she graduated with honors from the agronomy faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. She has been an Honored Scientist since 1981. From 1963 to present, she has been the director of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences.

Hajıyev Vahid Jalal (1928-2008)
He was born in 1928 in Shusha. In 1947 he graduated from the farming faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute, from 1973 to the end of his life he worked as the head of the geobotany department at the Institute of Botany of the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, in 1978-1988 as the deputy director for scientific affairs, and in 1988-2008 as the director.

Salmanov Məmmad Ahad
He was born in 1932 in Zangibasar region of Western Azerbaijan. In 1955, he graduated with honors from the veterinary faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute, and worked as the head of the veterinary station in Fizuli region. He worked as a director at the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, head of the department at the Medical University.

Babayev Maharram Pirverdi
He was born in 1937 in Barda region. After graduating from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute in 1959, he became an agronomist. He was the director of the Institute of Soil Science of ANAS.

Agabayli Agakhan Alasgar
(1904-1980)
He was born in 1904 in Salyan region. In 1927 he graduated from the agricultural faculty of the Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute with a degree in agronomy and zootechnics. From 1966 to the last days of his life, he headed the department of "Animal Genetics and Selection" at the Institute of Genetics and Selection of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

Alakbarov Kazim Abdulmanaf
(1909-1987)
He was born in 1909 in Baku. In 1932 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute with a degree in agronomy. In 1960 he became a professor.

Huseynov Rahim Allahverdi
(1914-1971)
He was born in 1914 in Ganja. In 1936 he graduated from the silk faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. He was a participant in the war of 1941-1945. Until 1951, he worked as the director of the Silkworm Station of the Azerbaijan ET, then the head of the silkworm department at the ACTI, and for some time served as the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Mammadov Aydin İsrafil
(1941-2003)
He was born in 1941 in Goranboy region. In 1965 he graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. In 1996-2000 he worked as the dean of the faculty of agricultural economics at AAİ. From 1984 to 2003 he headed the Department of Agrarian Policy and World Economy. He was the head of the expert group of the National Council.

Abdullayev Mahmud Abdulla
He was born in 1941 in Ganja. In 1962 he graduated from the agronomy faculty of the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute. He was awarded the title of Honored Scientist. At present, he works as the head of the laboratory at the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS.

Akbarov Zeynal İba
He was born in 1952 in Jalilabad region. He graduated with honors from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute in 1978. He is the director of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS. He is the founder and head of the National Genetic Bank.

Behbudova Sevda Pasha(1933-2012)
He was born in 1933 in Ganja. In 1959, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Agronomy of AAI, began his career as an assistant at the Department of Crop Production, in 1994 was elected head of the Department of Plant Growing, and later worked as a professor at the same department until the end of his life.

Maharramov Saleh Heydar oğlu
He was born in 1965 in Sharur district of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. In 1987, he graduated with honors from AAI with a degree in veterinary medicine. He worked as a teacher, senior teacher, associate professor, head of the department at Nakhchivan State University. In 2013-2019, he served as rector of the same university.

The 6th director of the institute was Poladov Mohsun Musa. He was born in 1905 in Gazakh. He graduated from AAI in 1932, majoring in agronomy and farming. He served as Minister of Agriculture and in several government positions.

MirzayevSoltan Abbas was the 7th director of the institute. He was born in 1909 in Nardaran village of Baku. He is a graduate of AAI. In 1942-1944 - during the hard times of the war, he headed the institute. He worked as the director of the Azerbaijan Scientific-Research Institute of Agricultural Economics and Organization.

Agayev Bala Mammad
In 1944-1953 Agayev Bala Mammad worked as the 8th director of the institute. He is a graduate of AAI. He was born in Shusha in 1910. He was a doctor of agricultural sciences, professor, prominent scientist in soil science and land reclamation.

In 1973-1983, Khalilov Bahman Bahram was the 11th head of the institute as the rector. He is a graduate of AAI. He was born in 1930 in Ganja, was a doctor of biological sciences, honored scientist and professor of entomology. During the rector's tenure, the number of students admitted to the institute has increased significantly

In 1983-1989 and 1995-2007 Jafarov Mammadtagi Ibrahim worked as the 12th rector of this educational institution. He is a graduate of AAI. In 1984-1989, a lot of landscaping work was carried out in the educational buildings, and as one of the founders of the YAP, he was the founder and first chairman of the Ganja city organization.

In 1990-1995 Raul Abdulla oglu Gadimov worked as the rector of the institute. He is a graduate of AAI. He was born in 1939 in Yerevan, he was the 13th head of this university. He was a doctor of veterinary sciences, professor, and was awarded the honorary title of Honored Scientist.

He was born in 1950 in Lahich settlement of Ismayilli region. Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor SadigovMirdamad Mirsadig oglu was the 14th head of this temple of science and education. He is a graduate of the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy. From November 2008 to February 14, 2013 he worked as the rector of ADAU. By the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 14, 2013, he was appointed to the position of the Head of the Executive Power of Ismayilli region.

A graduate of ADAU, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Jafarov Ibrahim Hasan was appointed Rector of the University by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 25, 2013. He is the 15th rector of the university. He was born in 1956 in Sharur district of Nakhchivan AR. In June 2014, he was elected a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

İbrahimov Eldar Rza
He was born in 1945 in Babek district of Nakhchivan AR. He graduated from the Azerbaijan Agricultural Institute in 1970. He served as First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the AR, First Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Economy and Planning. He was elected a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and is currently the chairman of the Agrarian Policy Committee of the National Assembly.

Rzayev Bayandur Shahbaz
